Cherry Pie came into our rescue program on August 9, 2011. Cherry Pie came from the Stephens County Sheriff's Office. Cherry Pie along with 14 other horses were severly starved and neglected in Marlow, Oklahoma. Sadly, one of the horses seized by Stephens County died within 48 hours of the seizure at the Vet Clinic, due to the extreme neglect she had suffered. The remaining 14 horses are currently in our care and being rehabilitated. Cherry Pie is a Beautiful, Blue Roan, Appaloosa, Mare. She is estimated to be 12 years of age. She is super sweet and loves attention. She is in good body condition and should be available for adoption soon. Please consider making a donation towards the rehabilitation of Cherry Pie and the other 13 horses from Marlow, Oklahoma.
Update 10/18/2011 Cherry Pie will be available for adoption very soon. She is a sweet girl and broke to ride, she neck reins and will make someone an excellent horse. Cherry Pie will need to have corrective surgery prior to being adopted for a large tear, possibly due to foaling. She is healthy, we just feel that it would be best for her to receive this corrective procedure prior to being adopted. Cherry Pie has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating, and hoof maintenance. If you are interested in adopting this sweet girl, please submit an adoption application or call/email to schedule an appointment to come visit Cherry Pie.
