Louisa came into our rescue program on March 26, 2019. Louisa came into our rescue program from The Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division as a cruelty case. Louisa is a Beautiful, Sorrel/White, Miniature, Mare. Louisa is estimated to be 9 years of age. Louisa is a sweet girl and loves attention. Louisa has foundered and been left with untrimmed hooves for quite some time. We are working hard to correct her hooves and get her back to a comfortable/normal position. Our farrier has built her special shoes to assist in this process. It will take some time to get her pasture sound but each day that passes she becomes more and more comfortable. Louisa stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. She is going to make someone a super nice little pony once she has rehabilitated. Louisa has a long road of recovery ahead of her. We will update as she improves. Please consider making a donation towards Louisa's Rehabilitation and surgery.
