Romey came into our rescue program on March 17, 2018. Romey came into our rescue program from the Perkins Animal Shelter. Romey was found as a stray in Perkins, Oklahoma and was never reclaimed. Romey is a Beautiful, Bay, Quarter Horse, Mare. Romey is estimated to be 20 years of age. Romey is a sweet girl and loves attention, however, she can be difficult to catch. Romey stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. We will update Romey's adoption status soon, as we evaluate her further. Please consider making a donation towards Romey's Rehabilitation.

Update December 2018 Romey is now seeking her forever, loving home. Romey is a super sweet girl once she gets to trust you. Romey is not broke to ride! She is recommended as a companion animal only! She gets along great with other horses. She enjoys attention, as long as, you are not asking anything out of her. If she sees a halter/lead rope, she wants nothing to do with you. Not sure what she has done all of her life, but she clearly didn't receive the positive attention she needed. If you are looking for a pet or great companion horse, that doesn't require anything more than just food, care and occasional loving on, then this is your girl. Romey has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and hoof maintenance.
