Spot came into our rescue program on November 10, 2017. Spot came into our rescue program from the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division as a cruelty case. Spot is a Black/White, Appaloosa, Gelding. Spot is estimated to be 22 years of age. Spot is super sweet boy. This beautiful boy will make someone an excellent horse with the right amount of time and attention. Spot can be a bit spoiled and tries to get out of work on the ground. Once he knows he is not the boss, he is typically a bit more well behaved. He certainly needs some ground manners but he is smart and quickly knows when that negative behavior won't work. We plan to evaluate Spot further under saddle this week to determine if he is broke to ride and what level training he may have. Spot loads in a trailer and stands for the farrier. Spot has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and hoof maintenance. We are generally available BY APPOINTMENT Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and generally anytime Friday - Sunday BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays. Please be patient with us and we will return your call/email as soon as possible.
