Reba came into our rescue program on November 12, 2009. Reba came from the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division. Reba is a Beautiful Bay Quarter Horse Mare. Reba is estimated to be 8 years of age. She is a super sweet girl and loves attention. She stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. Reba needs to put on some weight before being adopted. She will make someone an excellent horse. Update 4/20/10 Reba is seeking her forever, loving family. Reba is a super sweet girl, very well mannered, and loves attention. She has such a great personality. She stands for the farrier, stands for grooming, etc., She would stand with you all day, if you just continued to pet or love on her. Reba is pigeon toed and has some lameness issues. We have placed her in corrective shoes, but this is only to help ease her discomfort. Reba is available for adoption as a companion animal only. She could probably handle a small child sitting on her back with a very short hand walk, but she could not be ridden by an adult rider or trail ridden, etc., This sweet girl deserves her forever family to call her own, where she will be showered with love and attention. Reba has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, and hoof maintenance. We are generally available by appointment Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and anytime Friday - Sunday. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays. Please be patient with us and we will return your call/email as soon as possible.
