Alexa came into our rescue program on March 8, 2011. Alexa came from the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division along with 5 other horses in an animal cruelty case. Alexa is a Beautiful, Flea Bit Grey, Arabian, Mare. She is estimated to be 7 years of age. Alexa is a sweet girl, she loves attention, stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. Alexa will make someone a great horse. We think that she may be pregnant. We hope to have her checked very soon. She is in the process of gaining weight, but doing great. We will update with additional information including her adoption status once she is fully rehabilitated. Please consider making a donation towards Alexa's rehabilitation.

Update 4/12/2011 Alexa is now seeking her forever, loving home. Alexa is pregnant and expected to foal within the next 2 months. Alexa is broke to ride and will make someone an excellent horse. She is very calm, sweet, and loves attention. We would recommend some tune up time in a round pen or small enclosed area, as we don't know when she was ridden last. Alexa has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and hoof maintenance. Update 4/15/2011 Alexa surprised us with a beautiful colt on April 15, 2011. I think it is becoming clear that weather determines the birth of our foals around here. Alexa foals on the night that part of Oklahoma was hit with Tornadoes. A huge pressure change in the weather system and a beautiful, paint, colt arrives. Tushka is a healthy colt that is full of energy and spunk. He is always playing and running around his momma. Alexa is a wonderful mother. Both of these sweeties are seeking their forever, loving home together. Alexa and Tushka have been adopted to a wonderful family in Alva, Oklahoma. Alexa and Tushka have found their forever, loving family to call their own. These two sweethearts are going to be spoiled rotten and showered with love. We are thrilled that these two have found such a special home to call their own.

We are generally available by appointment Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and anytime Friday - Sunday. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays. Please be patient with us and we will return your call/email as soon as possible.
