Bella came into our rescue program on July 14, 2020. Bella came into our rescue program from the City of Edmond Animal Welfare along with 23 other horses as a cruelty case. This case has been a long drawn out ordeal and we are thankful that we can now prepare these horses for adoption. Many of these horses had a lot of medical issues that we have been treating and taking care of. Reportedly, most of the horses in this case are all Western Pleasure bred. We DO NOT have registration papers on any of these horses. Bella is a Beautiful, Bay, Quarter Horse, Mare. Bella is estimated to be 13 years of age. Bella is a super sweet girl and loves attention. Bella is accompanied by an approximately 8 week old colt. Bella is thin, with a body condition score of a 3. Bella has an old injury on her left hind pastern that is firm and swollen with scar present. Bella's bloodwork showed she was anemic, which can be due to external or internal parasites, poor nutrition, blood loss, or other chronic health issues. Her total protein was elevated which can be due to dehydration or infection. Fecal egg count was done and was negative for internal parasites. Bella is being a great mom and settling in well with a good diet to properly accommodate momma and baby. We will update as she improves. Bella has been adopted to a wonderful family in Guthrie, Oklahoma. Bella is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in her forever, loving home. We are thrilled that this super sweet girl found the forever, loving family she deserves where she will be showered with love and attention.

We are generally available BY APPOINTMENT Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and generally anytime Friday - Sunday BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays. Please be patient with us and we will return your call/email as soon as possible.
