Blitz came into our rescue program on May 07, 2015. Blitz came from the Pottawatomie County Sheriff's Office along with 11 other horses as an abandonment case. Sadly, help came too late for 2 other horses. We lost a 6 month old foal 3 days after she arrived and we found 1 dead on the property. Blitz was foaled on May 07, 2015 from Rattler. Blitz is a beautiful, Buckskin, Quarter Horse, Colt. Rattler and baby Blitz are in foster care and both are doing extremely well. Thankfully, these horses were saved prior to her foaling as Blitz may not be as lucky as he is today. Rattler and Blitz still have a long road ahead of them. Update December 2018 Blitz is now 3 years old and is one handsome boy! Blitz is now ready for training and his forever, loving home. Blitz has been gelded! Blitz is super sweet and loves attention. Blitz is halter broke and broke to lead. This handsome boy will make someone an excellent horse with the right amount of time and training. Blitz stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. Blitz has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and hoof maintenance. Blitz was picked for our 8th Annual Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge. He was chosen by Trainer Sherrod Ocker. Sherrod will be working with Blitz for the next 120 days, turning Blitz into a dependable riding companion. Sherrod will be going against 13 Trainers in our Trainer's Challenge. Competition is set for May 4th, 2019 at the Heart of Oklahoma, Shawnee Expo Center, Shawnee, Oklahoma. Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge. Blitz will be available for adoption throughout the competition on May 4th, 2019 through an all day silent auction. Blitz is a sweet boy and loves attention. Blitz has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and hoof maintenance. Outlaw has also been freeze branded for his protection. If you are interested in adopting Blitz, please submit an adoption application and get your pre-approved status, in order to adopt Blitz or one of our other Rescued Horses competing on May 4th, 2019.
Available for Adoption on May 4th, 2019 to pre-approved adopters through a Silent Auction. All bids start at $800.00 on the day of the event only. The day of the event will be the only opportunity to adopt a horse with over $3000.00 of training alone, for the starting bid of $800.00. If the horses do not get adopted the day of the event, the adoption fee will be higher once brought back to our facility.
Blitz has been adopted to a wonderful family in Edmond, Oklahoma. He is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in his forever, loving home. We are thrilled that this sweet boy found the forever, loving family he deserves where he will be showered with love and attention.

We are generally available by appointment Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and anytime Friday - Sunday. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays.
