Buckwheat came into our rescue program on October 7, 2012. Buckwheat came from Rocky, Oklahoma as an owner surrender due to a death. Buckwheat is a Beautiful, Brown, Miniature, Donkey, Jack. Buckwheat is estimated to be 1 years of age. Buckwheat was out on an extremely large pasture with several other donkeys and they received little to No attention. Buckwheat has been in a foster home since they came into rescue and getting better everyday with people. Buckwheat is young and still has a chance to be socialized and well acclimated. We will have Buckwheat gelded soon, which should help in with his behavior. Buckwheat has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, and deworming. Buckwheat has been adopted to a wonderful family in Choctaw, Oklahoma. Buckwheat is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in his forever, loving home. We are thrilled that this sweet boy will receive the time and attention he deserves with his forever, loving family.





Please call or email to schedule an appointment to visit the horses currently available in our rescue program. We are generally available by appointment Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and anytime Friday - Sunday. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays. Please be patient with us and we will return your call/email as soon as possible.
