Cheerio came into our rescue program on October 10, 2010. Cheerio is a beautiful, Palomino, Quarter Horse, Mare with beautiful blue eyes. Cheerio is a sweet girl. She is estimated to be 13 years of age. Cheerio came with Auburn and both have been together their entire lives. We would like to adopt these two together, but do understand that is not always feasible. Cheerio seems to connect to women more than men. She is very sweet but can try to bully you from time to time. She is broke to ride, would encourage an experienced rider for Cheerio. She doesn't do anything serious, but will try to bully you, in hopes that she can get you to stop riding her. She is very smart and onced pushed through her fit and corrected, she continues riding great. She needs a family that can provide her lots of time and attention. She will make someone an excellent horse. Cheerio has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming and hoof maintenance. If you are intersted in adopting this sweet girl, please submit an adoption application or call/email to schedule an appointment to visit Cheerio.
Update May 2014 Cheerio has been returned to our rescue by her previous family due to unforeseen circumstances and she is now seeking her forever, loving home. Cheerio is a sweet girl and will make someone an excellent horse. Cheerio is now 16 years of age. She is a beautiful girl and has a willing to please personality. Cheerio has spent a lot of time on the trails by her previous family. She is a wonderful trail horse, but would probably be best suited for an intermediate to experienced rider. She has a lot of go and really enjoys the trails. Cheerio has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, and hoof maintenance.
