Cidar came into our rescue program on November 16, 2011. Cidar came from the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division. Cidar is a Beautiful, Bay Roan, Quarter Horse, Mare. Cidar is estimated to be 3 years of age. Cidar is a sweet girl, loads in a trailer, and stands for the farrier. Cidar stands at 14 hands tall. She is halter broke and broke to lead. She is ready for a job. She would make someone an excellent horse with the right amount of time and training. She would do great for either pleasure or performance. Cidar has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming and hoof maintenance. Cidar was picked for our 2nd Annual Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge. She was chosen by Trainer Robert Hayes. Robert will be working with Cidar for the next 100 days, turning Cidar into a dependable riding companion. Robert will be going against 13 other Trainers in our Trainer's Challenge. Competition is set for May 4th, 2013 at the Lazy E Arena, Guthrie, Oklahoma. Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge. Cidar will be available for adoption immediately following the competition on May 4th, 2013. You can have an opportunity to see Cidar in action at our Blaze's Spring Fling Benefit Trail Ride on April 20th, 2013 at Prague Lake. All Trainers will be available with their horses to give anyone interested in adopting, a sneak peak. Cidar is a sweet girl and loves attention. Cidar is now 4 years of age. Cidar has been adopted to a wonderful family in Grandview, Texas. Cidar was adopted along with Rosa, where both will be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten. We are thrilled that these sweet girls found the forever, loving family they deserve.
