Darcy came into our rescue on November 6, 2010. Darcy was seized along with 12 other horses from the City of Edmond. Darcy is a Beautiful, Sorrel, Quarter Horse, Mare. She is estimated to be 6 years of age. Darcy is a body score of a 3, infested with internal/external parasites. She has a mass on the abdomen that requires biopsy and histopathology for identification. It would appear to be a sarcoid, but we will check it to be sure. Darcy has improved considerably since she first arrived. The first two pictures were taken the day of the seizure and the bottom two pictures were taken one week later. It is amazing what some time, attention, deworming and a good nutritional diet can do. We will update as Darcy improves with her adoption status. Please consider making a donation towards Darcy's rehabilitation.
