Darla came into our rescue program on October 12, 2012. Darla came from Stephens County Sheriff's Office as a cruelty case along with 10 other horses. Darla is a Beautiful, Brown, Donkey, Jenny. Darla is estimated to be 5 years of age. Darla is a body score of 4 and weighed 406 pounds on date of the seizure. Darla and her pasture mates have spent the last week at the Veterinary Clinic where they have all gained strength, as well as, gained a little bit of weight. Darla is super sweet and very smart. She loaded in the trailer with no problem and loves attention. She is halter broke and broke to lead. We will update as she progresses. Please consider donating towards Darla's Rehabilitation.

Darla has been adopted to a wonderful family Piedmont, Oklahoma. Darla is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in her forever, loving home. Darla is going to be the companion to a lonely gelding that has overcome some health issues. I am sure he will enjoy sweet Darla's companionship. We are thrilled that this special girl found her forever, loving family.

We are generally available by appointment Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and anytime Friday - Sunday. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays. Please be patient with us and we will return your call/email as soon as possible.
