Dowdy came into our rescue program on August 1, 2010. Dowdy is a super sweet Grey, Donkey. He is estimated to be 4 years of age. Dowdy had horrible feet upon arrival. He could barely walk and spent most of his day laying down. His feet were long and curled under. We immediately had our farrier and Veterinarian take care of his feet. He is doing great, walking freely and very comfortable. Dowdy will need to have his feet trimmed every 6 weeks in order to allow them to grow normally and for Dowdy to remain comfortable. Dowdy has been gelded and he is ready for his forever, loving home. Dowdy is super sweet, halter broke and broke to lead and stands for the farrier. He is such a great boy and would make someone an awesome donkey. Dowdy has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming and hoof maintenance. Dowdy has been adopted to a wonderful family in Choctaw, Oklahoma. Dowdy is joining Daphne in her forever, loving home. Both Daphne and Dowdy will be spoiled rotten and extremely well loved. They will receive lots of love and attention which they greatly deserve. We are thrilled that this sweet boy has found such a wonderful forever, loving family to call his own

We are generally available by appointment Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and anytime Friday - Sunday. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays. Please be patient with us and we will return your call/email as soon as possible.
