Dugan came into our rescue program on November 11, 2011. Dugan came from Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office. Dugan is a Beautiful, Palomino, Quarter Horse, Stud. He was a body score of a 1, infested with internal/external parasites. Unfortunately, I don't have the pictures of him when he first arrived. Dugan is estimated to be 2 years of age. Dugan is a super sweet and very smart. He stands for the farrier and loads in the trailer. He has such a sweet disposition and loves attention. We will update as he progresses. Update August 2012 Dugan is finally seeking his forever, loving home. Dugan is super sweet and loves attention. He is extremely smart and will make someone an excellent horse with the right amount of time and training. Dugan is halter broke and broke to lead. Dugan stands at 14 hands tall. He still has plenty of time to grow. He stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. Dugan has been gelded. He is still putting on weight, as he continues to hit growth spurts. Dugan has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, gelding and hoof maintenance. Dugan was picked for our 2nd Annual Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge. He was chosen by Trainer Daniel Glasgow. Daniel will be working with Dugan for the next 100 days, turning Dugan into a dependable riding companion. Daniel will be going against 13 other Trainers in our Trainer's Challenge. Competition is set for May 4th, 2013 at the Lazy E Arena, Guthrie, Oklahoma. Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge. Dugan will be available for adoption immediately following the competition on May 4th, 2013. You can have an opportunity to see Dugan in action at our Blaze's Spring Fling Benefit Trail Ride on April 20th, 2013 at Prague Lake. All Trainers will be available with their horses to give anyone interested in adopting, a sneak peak. Dugan is a sweet boy and loves attention. He recently hit a very nice growth spurt and looks great. Dugan is now 3 years of age. Dugan has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and hoof maintenance. If you are interested in adopting Dugan, please submit an adoption application and get your pre-approved status, in order to adopt Dugan or one of our other Rescued Horses competing on May 4th.

Dugan has been adopted to a wonderful family in Gainesville, Texas. Dugan is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in his forever, loving home. We are thrilled that this sweet boy found the forever, loving family he deserves.

We are generally available by appointment Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and anytime Friday - Sunday. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays.
