Farrah came into our rescue program on July 14, 2020. Farrah came into our rescue program from the City of Edmond Animal Welfare along with 23 other horses as a cruelty case. This case has been a long drawn out ordeal and we are thankful that we can now prepare these horses for adoption. Many of these horses had a lot of medical issues that we have been treating and taking care of. Reportedly, most of the horses in this case are all Western Pleasure bred. We DO NOT have registration papers on any of these horses. Farrah is a Beautiful, Sorrel, Quarter Horse, Mare. Farrah is estimated to be 3 years of age. Farrah is super sweet and loves attention. Farrah is in good condition, with a body condition score of 5. Farrah is a super nice mare. We will be updating her adoption status soon as we evaluate her. We will update as she improves. Farrah was picked for our 10th Annual Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge. She was chosen by Youth Trainer Avery Proffitt. Avery Proffitt will be working with Farrah for the next 35 days, turning Farrah into a dependable riding companion. Farrah has less time in this challenge, due to Avery's first pick Haygrazer, not being able to be trained with the time line designated for this challenge. We felt it was best for Avery and Haygrazer to switch out horses. Haygrazer will require additional time in training and we will pursue that after the challenge. In the meantime, Avery is still competing and now working with Farrah. Avery will be going against 7 Youth Trainers in our Trainer's Challenge. We have a total of 16 trainers competing. Competition is set for May 15, 2021 at Blaze's Tribute Equine Rescue's Facility at 21701 East Britton Road, Harrah, Oklahoma. Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge. Farrah will be available for adoption throughout the competition on May 15th, 2021 through an all day silent auction. Farrah is a sweet girl and loves attention. Farrah has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and hoof maintenance. Farrah has also been freeze branded for her protection. Team Farrah did a great job at this years 10th Annual Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainers Challenge. We are thrilled to announce that Youth Trainer Avery Proffitt came in 1st place with Team Farrah. Both did an amazing job and we couldn't be more proud of this wonderful team.

Farrah has been adopted to a wonderful home in Newalla, Oklahoma. Farrah is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in her forever, loving home. We are thrilled that this special girl found the forever, loving family she deserves where she will be showered with love and attention.

We are generally available BY APPOINTMENT Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and generally anytime Friday - Sunday BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays. Please be patient with us and we will return your call/email as soon as possible.
