Foxy came into our rescue program on May 22, 2011. Foxy came from the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division. Foxy is a Big, Beautiful, Gray, Thoroughbred, Mare. She is estimated to be 11 years of age. Foxy is a former racehorse. She is super sweet and very laid back. She loves attention and is extremely calm. Foxy stands about 15.2 hands tall. Foxy stands for the farrier, loads in a trailer and is broke to ride. We recommend some tune up time in a round pen or small enclosed area, as we don't know when Foxy was ridden last. She was very calm during her ride and didn't spook. Foxy still needs to put on some weight, but she is doing good and will just need to continue to keep her on a steady diet to continue to gain the weight. Foxy is currently with Robert Hayes getting a few tune up rides and will be featured for Adoption at the Guthrie Arena during Robert Hayes Horsemanship Clinic on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at 10:00 am. Foxy didn't mind anything that we did with her, from placing a tarp on her back, etc., Such a sweet girl and will make someone an excellent horse. Foxy would probably be a great beginners horse to advanced rider. She seems extremely versatile. Foxy has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming and hoof maintenance. If you are interested in giving this sweet girl the forever, loving home that she deserves, please submit an adoption application or call/email to schedule an appointment to come visit Foxy.
