Freud came into our rescue program on August 28, 2023. Freud came into our rescue program from the Major County Sheriff's Office along with 18 other horses and 1 very obese pot belly pig, as a cruelty case. Many other animals were seized as well and sent to a local small animal rescue. I am unsure of how many deceased animals were found on the property. Many of the horses had respiratory issues upon arrival. On September 28, 2023, In the District Court of Major County and the State of Oklahoma, having filed its motion regarding the animals pursuant to 21 O.S. 1680.4 and 4 O.S. 512, it is ordered that ownership is transferred to Blaze's Tribute Equine Rescue. Freud is a Beautiful, Chestnut, American Saddlebred, Gelding. Freud is estimated to be 20 years of age upon arrival into our program. Freud is very thin with a body score of a 2. Freud's bloodwork was abnormal and shows to ne anemic. Freud is infested with internal and external parasites. Freud is halter broke and broke to lead. Freud has a long road of recovery ahead of him. Update December 2023 Freud is seeking his forever, loving home to call his own. This big, beautiful boy will make someone an excellent horse. Freud is broke to ride. We would recommend some tune up time in a small, enclosed area, as we don't know when he was routinely ridden last. Freud will make someone an excellent trail horse. Freud stands at 15.1 hands tall. Freud stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. Freud has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, dental and hoof maintenance.
