Frosty came into our rescue program on August 9, 2011. Frosty came from the Stephens County Sheriff's Office. Frosty along with 14 other horses were severly starved and neglected in Marlow, Oklahoma. Sadly, one of the horses seized by Stephens County died within 48 hours of the seizure at the Vet Clinic, due to the extreme neglect she had suffered. The remaining 14 horses are currently in our care and being rehabilitated. Frosty is a Beautiful, Gray Dapple, Quarter Horse, Mare. She is estimated to be 13 years of age. She is super sweet and loves attention. Frosty is a body score of a 3.5, she was infested with internal/external parasites. Frosty is pregnant, estimated to be at least 4 months pregnant. We will update as she progresses. Please consider making a donation towards the rehabilitation of Frosty and the other 13 horses from Marlow, Oklahoma.
Update 10/18/2011 Frosty is now seeking her forever loving home. She is still gaining weight, but looking much better. Frosty is super sweet and broke to ride. She is very calm under saddle and would probably make someone a good beginners horse. Frosty has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and hoof maintanance. If you are interested in adopting this sweet girl, please submit and adoption application or call/email to schedule an appointment to come visit Frosty.
Frosty has been adopted to a wonderful family in McAlester, Oklahoma. Frosty is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in her forever, loving home.
