Higgins came into our rescue program on August 25, 2010. Higgins came from the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division along with 4 other horses. Higgins is a beautiful Palomino, Paint, Stud. He is estimated to be 3 years of age. Higgins is underweight, estimated to be a body score of a 2. Higgin's teeth are in horrible shape and will require some dental work very soon. He will be gelded once he has gained an appropriate amount of weight. He is super sweet and loves attention. He will make someone an excellent horse. We will update as he progresses. Update 10/5/10 -- Higgins is now seeking his forever, loving home. Higgins is a sweet boy. He has gained a lot of weight and looks great. Higgins currently stands about 14 - 14.2 hands tall. He is young and still growing. He is a beautiful boy and very smart. Higgins has been gelded. He stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. Higgins is broke to ride and will make someone an excellent horse. I would recommend some tune up rides in a round pen before hitting the trail. Higgins has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, hoof maintenance, gelding and teeth floating. Higgins has been adopted to a wonderful family in McLoud, Oklahoma. Higgins is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten. He is joining Helen and Journey in their forever, loving home. We are so thrilled that these special horses have found their forever, loving family where they will receive the time and attention that they deserve.

We are generally available by appointment Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and anytime Friday - Sunday. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays. Please be patient with us and we will return your call/email as soon as possible.
