Hildago came into our rescue program on January 11, 2012. Hildago came from the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division along with Kirkpatrick as an animal cruelty case. Hildago is a Beautiful, Sorrel/White, Paint, Gelding. Hildago is estimated to be 4 years of age. Hildago has a body score of a 2. Hildago was extremely lame upon entry. His front feet were full of abscesses and his sole was extremely thin. After treating his abscesses, our vet recommeneded front shoes in order to get him off the ground and allow growth on his sole. He is such a sweet boy and has been very tolerant of everything as we try to get his feet healthy again. He stands for the farrier, loads in a trailer and has such a sweet disposition. He is doing so much better and has free range of motion again. He has a long road of recovery ahead of him. We will update as he progresses. Update June 2012 Hildago is now ready for his forever, loving family. He has gained a lot of weight, but we do recommend that he gains some additional weight. Hildago is super sweet, always in your back pocket and loves attention. Hildago is still in front shoes, and we recommend that he remain in front shoes for several more months. Hildago is broke to rde! We would recommend some tune up time in an round pen or small enclosed area. Hildago is very calm under saddle. He stands at 15.1 hands tall. Hildago will make someone an excellent horse. Hildago has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and hoof maintenance. Hildago has been adopted to a wonderful family in Oologah, Oklahoma. Hildago is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in his forever, loving home. Hildago will have more attention by some very special young ladies than he will know what to do with. Hildago won't be alone, he is being joined by Prada and Ozzy. All three of these wonderful horses have an amazing forever, loving family to call their own.

We are generally available by appointment Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and anytime Friday - Sunday. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays.
