J.R. came into our rescue program on November 8, 2014. J.R. along with Bella Sarah and Dixie Land Delight came into our rescue program as an owner surrender due to the family having to relocate. These horses have been extremely well loved and have been together for most of their lives. We would love to see them all adopted together, but realize that may be a complicated task. J.R. is a Beautiful, Palomino, Quarter Horse, Gelding. J.R. is estimated to be 8 years of age. He is a sweet boy and loves attention, but can be difficult to catch. J.R. is broke to ride, however, we would recommend someone very experienced, as he is green and needs some additional training and time. He is extremely smart and picks up things very fast. In the right hands, he will go a long way and excel in training. He doesn't have a lot of confidence. He needs some work with picking up his feet and loading in the trailer. J.R. is a beautiful boy and stands around 16 hands tall. J.R. has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, and hoof maintenance. J.R. has been adopted to a wonderful family in Norman, Oklahoma. J.R. is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in his forever, loving home. We are thrilled that this sweet boy found the forever, loving family he deserves, where he will receive the time, attention and training he needs.

We are generally available by appointment Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and anytime Friday - Sunday. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays. Please be patient with us and we will return your call/email as soon as possible.
