Jeffrey came into our rescue program on August 23, 2011. Jeffrey came from the Piedmont Police Department. Jeffrey along with 10 other Belgian's and 1 mule were surrendered to the Piedmont Police Department, as the former owner was no longer able to provide the proper care they needed. Piedmont Police Department requested us to take the horses. These pictures were not taken the day the horses were removed. Once Blaze's was able to pick up the horses, they had received several days of a good nutritional diet, therefore, changing their body condition. Jeffrey is a Beautiful, Chestnut, Belgian Draft, Gelding. Jeffrey is estimated to be 14 years old. He is a former carriage horse. He is super sweet and one of the first horses to greet you when you enter the pasture. Jeffrey is a body score of a 2, he needs to gain some weight. His feet are in very poor condition and in need of dental work. We will update as he progresses. Please consider making a donation towards Jeffrey's rehabilitation.

Jeffrey has been adopted to a wonderful family in Guthrie, Oklahoma. Jeffrey is going to be spoiled rotten and extremely well loved in his forever, loving home. Jeffrey will receive the care and attention that he deserves. We are thrilled that this sweet boy has found his forever, loving family!





Please call or email to schedule an appointment to visit the horses currently available in our rescue program. We are generally available by appointment Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and anytime Friday - Sunday. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays. Please be patient with us and we will return your call/email as soon as possible.
