Jericho came into our rescue program on February 17, 2021. Jericho came into our rescue program from the Otoe Missouria Sheriff's Department along with 3 other horses as a cruelty case. Unfortunately, upon arrival, we found 1 horse down, in the snow, in emaciated condition. We spent 10 days trying to keep this horse on his feet. Sadly, we lost him due to the extreme neglect he suffered prior to arriving at our facility. Jericho is a Beautiful, Bay/White, Paint, Gelding. Jericho is estimated to be 7 years of age. Jericho is super sweet and loves attention. Jericho is halter broke and broke to lead. Jericho stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. Jericho is a little thin and will need to gain some weight prior to evaluating for adoption. Jericho will make someone an excellent horse with the right amount of time and training. Jericho was picked for our 11th Annual Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge. He was chosen by Trainer Troi Taylor. Troi Taylor will be working with Jericho for the next 130 days, turning Jericho into a dependable riding companion. Troi Taylor will be going against 10 Trainers in our Trainer's Challenge. We have a total of 11 trainers competing. Competition is set for May 14, 2022, at Blaze's Tribute Equine Rescue's Facility at 21701 East Britton Road, Harrah, Oklahoma. Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge. Jericho will be available for adoption throughout the competition on May 14th, 2022, through an all-day silent auction. Jericho is a sweet boy and loves attention. Jericho has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and hoof maintenance. Jericho has also been freeze branded for his protection. Jericho did a great job at this year's 11th Annual Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainers Challenge. We are thrilled to announce that Trainer Troi Taylor came in 4th place with Team Jericho. Both did an amazing job and we couldn't be more proud of this wonderful team.

Jericho has been adopted to a wonderful family in Yukon, Oklahoma. Jericho is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in his forever, loving home. We are thrilled that this special boy found the forever, loving family he deserves where he will be showered with love and attention.
