Kachina came into our rescue program on June 29, 2011. Kachina came from the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division as a cruelty case along with 2 other horses. Kachina is a Beautiful, Sorrel, Quarter Horse, Mare. Kachina is estimated to be 5 years of age. She is a super sweet girl, loves attention, loads in a trailer and stands for the farrier. Kachina is extremely thin and needs to gain a lot of weight. She should start gaining the weight soon, as she has been dewormed and had her teeth floated. Kachina has a long road of recovery ahead of her. We will update with additional information as she progresses. Please consider making a donation towards Kachina's rehabilitation.
Update 10/18/2011 Kachina is now seeking her forever, loving home. She is still gaining weight but doing great. Kachina is super sweet, loves attention and is broke to ride. Kachina will make someone an excellent horse. Kachina has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating, and hoof maintenance. If you are interested in adopting this sweet girl, please submit an adoption application or call/email to schedule an appointment to come visit Kachina.
Kachina has been adopted to a wonderful family in Piedmont, Oklahoma. Kachina is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten by a special little boy. She is going to have more love and attention than she is going to know what to do with. We are thrilled that this sweet girl has found her forever, loving home.
