Khaki came into our rescue program on November 1, 2021. Khaki came into our rescue program from the Bristow Livestock Auction. We attended the monthly horse sale, for educational purposes, as we don't typically attend horse auctions. This auction is strictly by the pound, unless you are riding the horse in the ring. Of course, while we are there, we see horses that are thin, etc., and felt compelled to bring some back to our program. Khaki is a Beautiful, Dun, Tennessee Walker X, Mare. Khaki is estimated to be 20 - 22 years of age upon arrival into our program. Khaki is super sweet and loves attention. This poor girl seems to have lost the spark in her eye and we pray in time, she will gain that back. Khaki is emaciated with a body score of a 2. We have Khaki on a specialized diet. This sweet girl has a long road of recovery ahead of her. We will update as she improves. Please consider making a donation towards Khaki's Rehabilitation.

Update November 2022 Khaki is doing great and now seeking her forever, loving home. Khaki is a beautiful horse and still has so much to offer. Khaki is broke to ride and will make someone an excellent horse. Khaki is gaited! Khaki stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. Khaki has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, dental and hoof maintenance. Khaki has been adopted to a wonderful family in Mustang, Oklahoma. Khaki is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in her forever, loving home. We are thrilled that this sweet girl found the forever, family she deserves, where she will be showered with love and attention.
