Lucas came into our rescue program on March 14, 2015. Lucas came into our rescue program from the Garvin County Sheriff's Office along with 1 other horse as a abandonment case. Lucas is a Beautiful, Bay, Quarter Horse, Gelding. Lucas is estimated to be 15 years of age. He is a sweet boy and loves attention. Lucas is emaciated, body score of a 1, infested with internal/external parasites. Lucas is a sweet boy, stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. This sweet boy has a long road of recovery ahead of him. We will update as he progresses, Please consider making a donation towards Lucas' Rehabilitation.

October 2015 Lucas is now seeking his forever, loving home. Lucas is doing great and looking even better. Lucas is a great horse and he is broke to ride. He is very calm and will make someone an excellent horse. We would recommend some tune up time in a round pen or small enclosed area, as we don't know when he was ridden last. Lucas is super sweet, loves attention, great personality and eager to please. He will make someone a great all around horse for anyone to ride. Lucas loads in a trailer and stands for the farrier. Lucas has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and hoof maintenance. Lucas has been adopted to a wonderful family in Enid, Oklahoma. Lucas is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in his forever, loving home. We are thrilled that this sweet boy found the forever, loving family he deserves where he will receive the time and attention he longs for.

We are generally available by appointment Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and anytime Friday - Sunday. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays.
