Magpie came into our rescue program on December 17, 2022. Magpie came into our rescue program from the Coweta Police Department along with 2 other horses as a cruelty case. Magpie is a Beautiful, Bay/White Overo, Paint, Mare. Magpie is estimated to be 15 years of age upon arrival into our program. Magpie is thin with a body score of 4. Magpie is super sweet and loves attention. Magpie's blood work shows her to be anemic. Magpie is halter broke and broke to lead. Magpie has a long road of recovery ahead of her. Update May 2023 Magpie is now seeking a forever, loving home to call her own. This beautiful girl will make somebody a wonderful horse. Magpie is broke to ride. We would recommend some tune up time in a round pen or small enclosed area, as we aren't sure when she was routinely ridden last. Magpie stands at 15 hands tall. Magpie stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. Magpie has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, dental, and hoof maintenance. Magpie has been adopted to a wonderful family in Piedmont, Oklahoma. Magpie is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in her forever, loving home. We are thrilled that this sweet girl found the forever, family she deserves, where she will be showered with love and attention.
