Matilda came into our rescue program on April 06, 2013. Matilda came from the Seminole County Sheriff's Office along with 62 other horses and 3 Llama's as a severe cruelty case. Seminole County investigated an animal cruelty case consisting of over 120 animals, where several carcasses were found. Sadly, for many horses, help came too late. We were able to assist Seminole County and save 63 horses and 3 Llama's from neglect. Matilda is a Beautiful, Chestnut, Haflinger, Mare. Matilda is estimated to be 4 years of age. Matilda is a body score of a 3. She is infested with internal/external parasites, has rain rot and is mildly anemic. She is super sweet and very smart. She loves attention and always easy to approach and catch. She loads in a trailer and stands for the farrier. Matilda will be coming available for adoption soon. We will update as she progresses. Update June 2013 Matilda is doing great, gaining weight and seeking her forever, loving family. Matilda is a sweet girl. She is broke to ride, but would consider her still a bit green. She tacks up nicely and moves out nicely. We would recommend some tune up time in a round pen or small enclosed area. She is very smart and with the right amount of time and attention she will make someone an excellent horse. She is a small girl, just under 14 hands tall. Matilda loves attention and is usually one of the first ones to greet you. Matilda stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. Matilda has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming and hoof maintenance. Matilda has been adopted to a wonderful family in Norman, Oklahoma. Matilda is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in her forever, loving home. We are thrilled that this sweet girl will receive the unlimited amount of love and attention with her forever, loving family.

We are generally available by appointment Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and anytime Friday - Sunday. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays. Please be patient with us and we will return your call/email as soon as possible.
