Misty came into our rescue program on December 28, 2014. Misty came into our rescue program from the Hughes County Sheriff's Office along with 1 other horse as a cruelty case. Misty is a Beautiful, Gray, Quarter Horse, Mare. Misty is estimated to be 5 years of age. Misty is a body score of a 1, severely emaciated and infested with internal/external parasites. She also appears to have an infected tooth that will require immediate attention. She is a super sweet girl. She was not halter broke or broke to lead when she arrived in our program. Someone clearly did not provide her the time, attention, or necessary food to survive. She was simply left to her own means of survival for entirely too long. We will update as she progresses, Please consider making a donation towards Misty's Rehabilitation.
