Nash came into our rescue program on August 24, 2017. Nash came into our rescue program from the Hughes County Sheriff's Office as a cruelty case along with 9 other horses. Sadly, 1 horse we lost shortly after the seizure due to the extreme nature of his neglect. We tried everything to save him, but he was too far gone and didn't have the energy to fight. Thankfully, help arrived in time for the remaining horses. Nash is a Beautiful, Black, Miniature Horse, Gelding. Nash is estimated to be 3 years of age. Nash is very thin with a body score of a 2. Nash is covered in rain rot, infested with parasites and his blood work is also elevated. Nash has several large areas of white hair growth along his spine, likely from chronic pressure/trauma such as from poor fitting/incorrectly padded saddle or walking under an object and rubbing. Nash is club footed and we will need to correct that as we can. Nash has a long road of recovery ahead of him. We will update as he improves. Update May 2018 Nash is now seeking his forever, loving home. Nash is super sweet and loves attention. Nash is halter broke and broke to lead. He gets along great with other minis. Nash stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. We do not know if he is broke to ride, we simply don't have any one small enough to test him. He will make someone a wonderful family pet. Nash has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, and hoof maintenance. Nash has been adopted to a wonderful family in Jones, Oklahoma. Nash is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in his forever, loving home. We are thrilled that this sweet boy found the forever, loving family he deserves where he will be showered with love and attention.

We are generally available BY APPOINTMENT Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and generally anytime Friday - Sunday BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays. Please be patient with us and we will return your call/email as soon as possible.
