Newman came into our rescue program on November 1, 2021. Newman came into our rescue program from the Bristow Livestock Auction. We attended the monthly horse sale, for educational purposes, as we don't typically attend horse sales. This sale is strictly by the pound, unless you are riding the horse in the ring. Of course, while we are there, we see horses that are thin, etc., and felt compelled to bring some back to our program. Newman is a Beautiful, Bay/White Tobiano, Paint, Stud. Newman is estimated to be 7 years of age upon arrival into our program. Newman is super sweet and loves attention. Newman was not halter broke upon arrival. Newman is now Halter broke and broke to lead and has been gelded. Newman is a little thin and needs to gain a bit more weight before evaluating for adoption. Newman will make someone an excellent horse with the right amount of time and training. We will update as he improves. Please consider making a donation towards Newman's Rehabilitation.

Update June 2023 Newman has gone through training with Aaron Dickinson and doing great. He will need to be continuously ridden. He has an amazing start and now just needs to be kept up under saddle and given a job. Newman is a super sweet boy, and he loves attention. He has been gelded. Newman stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. Newman will make someone an excellent horse. He has a great personality and an eager to please attitude. Newman looks great and we will update with some additional photos soon. Newman has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, dental and hoof maintenance. Newman has been adopted to a wonderful family in Piedmont, Oklahoma. Newman is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in his forever, loving home. We are thrilled that this special boy found the forever, loving family he deserves, where he will be showered with love and attention.
