Numbers came into our rescue program on March 25, 2011. Numbers came from the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division as an animal cruelty case. Numbers is a Beautiful, Sorrell, Quarter Horse, Gelding. He is estimated to be 19 years of age. Numbers is a sweet boy, he loves attention, stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. Upon arrival at the OKC-AWD, he exhibited signs of a Partial Penile Paralysis. He was weak and showed signs of possible neurologic disorder. We have started him on EPM Meds to offset any neurologic problems. He no longer shows signs of a paralysis and is doing good. He is emaciated and has a long road of recovery ahead of him. We will update as he progresses. Please consider making a donation towards Numbers rehabilitation.
Update 7/12/2011 Numbers has gained a lot of much needed weight and doing great. This sweet boy is seeking his forever, loving home to call his own. Numbers is broke to ride and will make someone an excellent horse. He does not appear to have neurological problems and was on EPM meds for 30 days. Numbers is still gaining weight, but doing great. He has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and hoof maintenance. If you are interested in adopting this sweet boy, please submit an adoption application or call/email to schedule an appointment to come visit Numbers.
Numbers has been adopted to a wonderful family in Tonkawa, Oklahoma. Numbers was adopted along with Playboy, both will be spoiled rotten and extremely well loved by a wonderful family. We are thrilled that these sweet boys have found the forever, loving home that they deserve.
