Orchid came into our rescue program on March 3, 2022. Orchid came into our rescue program as an animal cruelty case from the Wagoner County Sheriff's Office along with 8 other horses. Sadly, we were not able to save one of them to do a severe injury the horse had sustained and never received Veterinary Care. Orchid is a Beautiful, Red Roan. Quarter Horse, Mare. Orchid is estimated to be 2 years of age upon arrival into our program. Orchid is a sweet girl but tends to be aloof. Siri is in poor condition with a body score of 2. Orchid's feet were in very poor condition. Orchid's blood work shows she is anemic, which is likely due to poor nutrition and parasites. Orchid is halter broke and broke to lead. Orchid has a long road of recovery ahead of her. We will update as she progresses. Please consider making a donation towards Orchid's Rehabilitation.

Update May 2023 Orchid is now seeking her forever, loving home to call her own. This big, beautiful girl has made an amazing transformation. She has color, size and is smart. With the right amount of time and training, Orchid will make someone an excellent horse. Orchid can be difficult to catch at first, but once caught, she is eager to please and seeking the right answer. She is ready for training. Orchid is halter broke and broke to lead. Orchid needs work standing for the farrier. Orchid loads in a trailer. Orchid has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming and hoof maintenance. Orchid has been adopted to a wonderful family in Wanette, Oklahoma. Orchid is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in her forever, loving home. We are thrilled that this special girl found the forever, loving family she deserves, where she will be showered with love and attention.
