Prancer came into our rescue program on December 16, 2014. Prancer came into our rescue program from the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division along with 7 other horses as a cruelty case. Prancer is a Beautiful, Palomino, Quarter Horse, Mare. Prancer is estimated to be 3 years of age. Prancer is a body score of a 2 and infested with internal/external parasites. She is very aloof and scared. She had never been halter broke or broke to lead prior to the day of the seizure. Once caught, she calmed down tremendously and accepted attention. She is a sweet girl that just needs some time and TLC. We apologize for the wet, dirty horses in the pictures, but the weather was nasty the day they arrived into rescue. Prancer is very thin and has a long road of recovery ahead of her. We will update as she progresses, Please consider making a donation towards Prancer's Rehabilitation.

Update November 2015 Prancer is now seeking her forever, loving home. Prancer is doing great and gaining weight. She is a big, beautiful girl and she is ready for a family to provide her the time, attention and training she deserves. Prancer is now halter broke and broke to lead. Prancer has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming and hoof maintenance. Prancer was picked for our 5th Annual Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge. She was chosen by Youth Trainer Abby Ocker. Abby will be working with Prancer for the next 120 days, turning Prancer into a dependable riding companion. Abby will be going against 6 Youth Trainers in our Trainer's Challenge. We also have 10 Adult Trainers competing in our Trainer's Challenge. Competition is set for May 21, 2016 at the Lazy E Arena, Guthrie, Oklahoma. Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge. Prancer will be available for adoption throughout the competition on May 21, 2016 through an all day silent auction. Prancer is a sweet girl and loves attention. Prancer has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and hoof maintenance. Prancer has also been freeze branded for her protection. If you are interested in adopting Prancer, please submit an adoption application and get your pre-approved status, in order to adopt Prancer or one of our other Rescued Horses competing on May 21, 2016.

Update March 2016 Team Prancer is coming along wonderfully. This is a great horse and certainly one you don't want to miss out on. Come see Abby & Prancer at our Spring Fling benefit trail ride on April 30th at Prague Lake. Don't forget to submit your application to come out and adopt this sweet girl on May 21st, 2016 at The Lazy E Arena, in Guthrie, Oklahoma. Available for Adoption on May 21st, 2016 to pre-approved adopters through a Silent Auction. All bids start at $800.00 on the day of the event only. The day of the event will be the only opportunity to adopt a horse with over $3000.00 of training alone, for the starting bid of $800.00. If the horses do not get adopted the day of the event, the adoption fee will be higher once brought back to our facility.

Abby Ocker and Team Prancer did an amazing job at this year's Trainer's Challenge. Prancer has been adopted to a wonderful family in Jones, Oklahoma. Prancer is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in her forever, loving home. We are thrilled that this girl found the forever, loving family she deserves where she will receive the time, attention and daily love she longs for.

We are generally available by appointment Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and anytime Friday - Sunday. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays. Please be patient with us and we will return your call/email as soon as possible.
