Queenie came into our rescue program on August 23, 2011. Queenie came from the Piedmont Police Department. Queenie along with 10 other Belgian's and 1 mule were surrendered to the Piedmont Police Department, as the former owner was no longer able to provide the proper care they needed. Piedmont Police Department requested us to take the horses. These pictures were not taken the day the horses were removed. Once Blaze's was able to pick up the horses, they had received several days of a good nutritional diet, therefore, changing their body condition. Queenie is a Beautiful, Chestnut, Belgian Draft, Mare. Queenie is estimated to be 11 years old. She is a former carriage horse Queenie is a body score of a 4. She is in need of dental work and hoof care. Queenie is currently in foster care and will be available for adoption once she has received the medical care she needs. We will update as she progresses. Update 10/10/2011 Queenie is now seeking her forever, loving home to call her own. Queenie is super sweet, loves attention, stands for the farrier, and is broke to drive. Queenie has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and hoof maintenance. Queenie has been adopted to a wonderful family in Gentry, Arkansas. Queenie was adopted along with Princess and both are going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in their forever, loving home. We are so happy for these sweet girls, they will receive more love and attention than they could have asked for.





Please call or email to schedule an appointment to visit the horses currently available in our rescue program. We are generally available by appointment Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and anytime Friday - Sunday. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays. Please be patient with us and we will return your call/email as soon as possible.
