Rojo came into our rescue program on August 9, 2016. Rojo came into our rescue program after a group of Mustang advocates discovered Rojo on a kill lot ready to ship to slaughter. They fund raised to save him and he had a home offer, that unfortunately fell through, so they reached out to us to assist. Rojo is a Beautiful, Gray, BLM Mustang, Gelding. Rojo is estimated to be 13 years of age. Rojo is a sweet boy and he seems to love attention. We were told he was a bit standoffish but so far, he seems to love the attention and quickly seeks us out to see what we are up too. Rojo is broke to ride. We would recommend some tune up time in a round pen or small enclosed area, as it appears it has been a while since he has been ridden. He will make someone an excellent horse with the right amount of time, attention and tuning up. He has such a sweet personality and disposition. Rojo stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. Rojo has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, and hoof maintenance. Rojo has been adopted to a wonderful family in Newalla, Oklahoma. Rojo is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in his forever, loving home. We are so thrilled that this big beautiful boy found the forever, loving family he deserves where he will receive a lot of time and attention.

We are generally available BY APPOINTMENT Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and generally anytime Friday - Sunday BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays. Please be patient with us and we will return your call/email as soon as possible.
