Rosa came into our rescue program on June 27, 2012. Rosa came in when Stardust was returned. Rosa and Stardust were/are pasture buddies and have been together for over a year. Rosa is a Beautiful, Sorrel, Quarter Horse, Mare. Rose is estimated to be 2 years of age. Rosa is a super sweet and very smart. She loves attention. She is already 14.1 hands tall, and hasn't quite turned 2 yet. She is a beautiful girl. She is extremly smart, loads in a trailer and stands for the farrier. This sweet girl will make someone an excellent horse with the right amount of time and training. We would love it, if Rosa and Stardust can be adopted together, however, we understand that may not be realistic. Rosa has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming and hoof maintenance. Rosa was picked for our 2nd Annual Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge. She was chosen by Trainer Jason Wilson. Jason will be working with Rosa for the next 100 days, turning Rosa into a dependable riding companion. Jason will be going against 13 other Trainers in our Trainer's Challenge. Competition is set for May 4th, 2013 at the Lazy E Arena, Guthrie, Oklahoma. Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge. Rosa will be available for adoption immediately following the competition on May 4th, 2013. You can have an opportunity to see Rosa in action at our Blaze's Spring Fling Benefit Trail Ride on April 20th, 2013 at Prague Lake. All Trainers will be available with their horses to give anyone interested in adopting, a sneak peak. Rosa is a sweet girl and loves attention. Rosa has been adopted to a wonderful family in Grandview, Texas. Rosa was adopted along with Cidar, where both will be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten. We are thrilled that these sweet girls found the forever, loving family they deserve

We are generally available by appointment Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and anytime Friday - Sunday. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays.
