Rowdy came into our rescue program on April 4, 2012. Rowdy came from the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division along with his mom Leslie as a cruelty case. Leslie and Rowdy spent nearly 2 years at OKC-AWD, while the owner fought the animal cruelty charges. You wouldn't know today, that nearly 2 years ago they were both emaciated, they are quite healthy and happy. Rowdy is a Beautiful, Black/White, Paint, Gelding. Rowdy is estimated to be 2 years of age. He currently stands at 13.2 hands tall and still has plenty of time to grow. Rowdy is super sweet and loves attention. He has quite the personality, loves to play with a jolly ball. Rowdy enjoys life to the fullest. Rowdy has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, Gelding, and hoof maintenance. Rowdy was picked for our 2nd Annual Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge. He was chosen by Trainer Kaitlyn Cross. Kaitlyn will be working with Rowdy for the next 100 days, turning Rowdy into a dependable riding companion. Kaitlyn will not be competing against the other trainers, but she will be a highlighted featured trainer. Competition is set for May 4th, 2013 at the Lazy E Arena, Guthrie, Oklahoma. Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge. Rowdy will be available for adoption immediately following the competition on May 4th, 2013. You can have an opportunity to see Rowdy in action at our Blaze's Spring Fling Benefit Trail Ride on April 20th, 2013 at Prague Lake. All Trainers will be available with their horses to give anyone interested in adopting, a sneak peak. Rowdy is a sweet Boy and loves attention. Rowdy has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and hoof maintenance. Rowdy has been adopted to a wonderful family in Magdalena, New Mexico. Rowdy, along with Mishka, is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in his forever, loving home. We are thrilled that this sweet boy will receive the love and attention he deserves from his forever, loving family.

We are generally available by appointment Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and anytime Friday - Sunday. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays. Please be patient with us and we will return your call/email as soon as possible.
