Runt came into our rescue program on November 27, 2013. Runt came into our program due to his owner passing away. Runt is a Beautiful, Sorrel, Quarter Horse, Gelding. Runt is registered as Ell Trouble Count and born on 5/16/2008. Runt is a sweet boy and loves attention. He hasn't been handled much. He is Halter Broke and Broke to lead. He stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. Runt has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating, and hoof maintenance. Runt has been freeze branded and micro chipped for his protection. Runt was picked for our 3rd Annual Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge. He was chosen by Trainer Robert Beene. Robert will be working with Runt for the next 100 days, turning Runt into a dependable riding companion. Robert will be going against 11 other Trainers in our Trainer's Challenge. We also have 7 Youth Trainers competing in our Trainer's Challenge. Competition is set for April 26, 2014 at the Lazy E Arena, Guthrie, Oklahoma. Update October 2014 Runt is now with Trainer Christa Caho Dallas and doing wonderful. He is now seeking his forever, loving home. Runt is a super sweet boy, he loves attention and has a heart of gold. Runt does wonderful on the trails and prefers to be a pleasure/trail horse. He will lead the way or follow along. Runt needs someone that will be very patient with him and build a strong, trusting bond. Runt has been on a night ride with Christa and did amazing. He went through water, etc., He also attended our Haunt for the Horses Benefit Trail Ride at Bell Cow lake and did wonderful, even dressed up in costume. This is certainly a boy that you want to see! Runt has been adopted to a wonderful family in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Runt, along with Fidget will be spoiled rotten and extremely well loved in their forever, loving home. We are thrilled that these sweethearts have been adopted together where both will receive an unlimited amount of love and attention they deserve.
