Sally came into our rescue program on April 24, 2012. Sally came from the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division as a cruelty case. Sally spent over a year at OKC-AWD while the owner fought the cruelty charges. Sally was seized as a body score of a 1, she is now a body score of a 6. Sally is a Beautiful, Sorrel, Quarter Horse, Mare. Sally is estimated to be 20 years of age and stands about 15 hands tall. Sally is a perfect example that age is not a disease. Sally is super sweet, very smart, stands for the farrier, loads in a trailer and has such a sweet dispostion. She appears to be a former QH race horse, as she is tattooed. Sally is broke to ride, we would recommend some tune up time in an round pen or small enclosed area. She loves to go and would make someone an excellent play day horse. Just because she is 20 years of age, does not mean it holds her back. It's not how old you are, its how old you feel. Sally wants a job and she is eager to please. Her whole disposition changed once the saddle hit her back. She immediately went into work mode and appeared to enjoy it. Sally has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and hoof maintenance. If you would like to give this sweet girl a forever, loving home, please submit an adoption application or call/email to schedule an appointment to come visit Sally.
