Salsa came into our rescue program on July 14, 2020. Salsa came into our rescue program from the City of Edmond Animal Welfare along with 23 other horses as a cruelty case. This case has been a long drawn out ordeal and we are thankful that we can now prepare these horses for adoption. Many of these horses had a lot of medical issues that we have been treating and taking care of. Reportedly, most of the horses in this case are all Western Pleasure bred. We DO NOT have registration papers on any of these horses. Salsa is a Beautiful, Brown, Quarter Horse, Mare. Salsa is estimated to be 18 years of age upon arrival into our program. Salsa is a super sweet girl and loves attention. Salsa is in fair condition, with a body condition score of a 5. Salsa has a scar on the lateral aspect of the left carpus. Update May 2023 Salsa is seeking a loving companion home only to call her own. Salsa is a sweet girl and loves attention. Salsa is now 21 years of age. Salsa has a bad knee from a former injury. She is comfortable and gets around great but cannot be ridden and is seeking a companion only home. Salsa is halter broke and broke to lead. Salsa stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. Salsa has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, dental and hoof maintenance. Salsa has been adopted to a wonderful family in Elmore City, Oklahoma. Salsa is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in her forever, loving home. We are thrilled that this sweet girl found the forever, family she deserves, where she will be showered with love and attention.
