Sangria came into our rescue program on July 15, 2014. Sangria came into our rescue program from the Canadian County Sheriff's Office. Sangria is a Beautiful, Gray, Quarter Horse, Mare. Sangria is estimated to be 2 years of age. Sangria is a body score of a 3. She has many scars and wounds all over her. It appears she was being used for possible horse tripping, which is illegal in the United States. She is infested with internal/external parasites. She is a sweet girl and loves attention. She is a bit untrusting at the moment, but I know with time, she will be great. She just needs to see that no one is going to hurt her. She is halter broke and broke to lead. She stands for the farrier and loads in the trailer. This beautiful girl still as a bit of recovery ahead of her. We will update as she progresses. Sangria was picked for our 4th Annual Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge. She was chosen by Trainer Brandan Krieger. Brandan will be working with Sangria for the next 120 days, turning Sangria into a dependable riding companion. Brandan will be going against 11 Trainers in our Trainer's Challenge. We also have 10 Youth Trainers competing in our Trainer's Challenge. Competition is set for May 30, 2015 at the Lazy E Arena, Guthrie, Oklahoma. Sangria has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and hoof maintenance. Sangria has also been freeze branded for her protection. Sangria has been adopted to a wonderful family in Yukon, Oklahoma. Sangria is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in her forever, loving home. Sangria has been adopted by her trainer Brandan Krieger. We are so thrilled that this sweet girl found the family she deserves, where she will receive an unlimited amount of love and care.
