Sarah came into our rescue program originally on April 13, 2013, sadly returned to our program on April 30, 2023. Sarah came from the Seminole County Sheriff's Office along with 62 other horses and 3 Llama's as a severe cruelty case. Seminole County investigated an animal cruelty case consisting of over 120 animals, where several carcasses were found. Sadly, for many horses, help came too late. We were able to assist Seminole County and save 63 horses and 3 Llama's from neglect. Sarah is a Beautiful, Black, Friesian X, Mare. Sarah was foaled by Sidney, who was a beautiful, black, Tennessee Walker. Sarah was foaled on April 13, 2013. Sarah stands at 14.2 hands tall . Sarah is a super sweet girl, very social and loves people. She is very food motivated and will generally do anything for a treat. Sarah has very good ground manners, stands tied and in cross-ties. She stands for clipping, including legs, chin, bridlepath and ears. She loads in a trailer well, whether it's a 2 horse straight load or slant. Sarah is broke to ride. She walks, trots, and canters under saddle, both in western and english. Sarah has been started in Dressage and loves it. She would be great in the show ring. She is very well trained and very soft! We would recommend an intermediate rider. Sarah is a wonderful horse and will make someone an amazing partner. Sarah was returned to us, due to her former adopter relocating to Germany. Sarah has been wonderfully cared for over the last 10 years. Sarah stands for the farrier. Sarah has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, dental and hoof maintenance. If you are interested in adopting this beautiful girl, please submit an adoption application or call/text/email to schedule an appointment to come visit Sarah.
