Seahorse came into our rescue program on February 15, 2019. Seahorse came into our rescue program from the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office along with 27 other horses as a cruelty case. Many of the horses were unhandled prior to the seizure. The court awarded that 14 horses could be returned to the owner. Seahorse is a Beautiful, Chestnut, Thoroughbred, Mare. Seahorse is estimated to be 13 years of age. Seahorse is a sweet girl and loves attention. Seahorse was pregnant upon arrival but sadly aborted her foal. She became ill, heavy diarrhea and lost a bit of weight after she aborted. She is doing much better now! Seahorse is halter broke and broke to lead. We don't know yet if she has had any other training. She is thin with a body score of a 3. Infested with internal/external parasites. She is going to make someone a super nice horse with the right amount of time and training. We will formerly evaluate Seahorse soon for adoption. She needs to gain a bit more weight, Please consider making a donation towards Seahorse's rehabilitation.
Update June 2020 Seahorse is now seeking her forever, loving home. Seahorse is a beautiful horse and has gained a lot of weight. She is a sweetheart and loves attention. Seahorse is broke to ride! We do recommend some tune up time in a round pen or small enclosed area, as we don't know when she was routinely ridden last. Seahorse is going to make someone an excellent horse. Seahorse stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. Seahorse has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, and hoof maintenance. Seahorse has been adopted to a wonderful family in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Seahorse is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in her forever, loving home. We are thrilled that this sweet girl found the forever, loving family she deserves where she will be showered with love and attention.
