Shelby came into our rescue program on February 21, 2012. Shelby came from the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division as a cruelty case along with 2 other horses. Shelby is a Beautiful, Palomino, Quarter Horse, Mare. Shelby is estimated to be 20 years of age. Shelby is super sweet, very smart, stands for the farrier and has such a sweet dispostion. Shelby has a lot of weight to gain. We will update as she progresses. Please consider making a donation towards Shelby's rehabilitation.
Update May 2012 Shelby is now seeking her forever, loving home. Shelby is still gaining weight, but she is looking good and feeling good. Shelby stands at 15.1 hands tall. Shelby is broke to ride. We would recommend some tune up time in a round pen or small enclosed area. Shelby has a lot of energy and spunk. Don't let her age fool you. She is ready to go and would make someone an excellent play day horse. Shelby is super sweet, stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. She will make someone an excellent horse. Shelby has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and hoof maintenance.
