Silk came into our rescue program on June 8, 2012. Silk came from Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division along with 2 other horses involved in an animal cruelty case. Silk is a Beautiful, Black, Quarter Horse, Mare. She is a body score of a 4, infested with internal/external parasites. Silk is estimated to be 7 years of age. Silk is a super sweet and very smart. She stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. Silk is broke to ride! We recommend some tune up time in a round pen or small enclosed area. She is very calm under saddle and will make someone an excellent horse. Silk stands at 14 hands tall. Silk has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, teeth floating, deworming and hoof maintenance. Silk has been adopted by a wonderful family in Arkansas City, Kansas. Silk along with Soldier Boy are going to be extremely spoiled rotten and well loved. We are thrilled that these two sweethearts have found their forever, loving family where they will receive the time and attention they deserve

We are generally available by appointment Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and anytime Friday - Sunday. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays. Please be patient with us and we will return your call/email as soon as possible.
