Siri came into our rescue program on March 3, 2022. Siri came into our rescue program as an animal cruelty case from the Wagoner County Sheriff's Office along with 8 other horses. Sadly, we were not able to save one of them to do a severe injury the horse had sustained and never received Veterinary Care. Siri is a Beautiful, Sorrel. Quarter Horse, Mare. Siri is estimated to be 2 years of age upon arrival. Siri is a sweet girl but tends to be aloof. Siri is in very poor condition with a body score of 1. Siri's feet were in very poor condition. Siri's blood work shows she is anemic, which is likely due to poor nutrition and parasites. Siri is halter broke and broke to lead. Siri has a long road of recovery ahead of her. Update May 2023 Siri is doing great and looks amazing. This beautiful girl is ready for a family to call her own. Siri needs a patient family that will work with her on being caught and accepting attention. She is very aloof but with time and patience, once caught, she tends to settle down. This beautiful girl has so much potential. She is young and ready for training. She is going to be a nice stout mare. Siri is halter broke and broke to lead. Siri does need work standing for the farrier. Siri has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming and hoof maintenance.
