Spoon came into our rescue program on July 14, 2020. Spoon came into our rescue program from the City of Edmond Animal Welfare along with 23 other horses as a cruelty case. This case has been a long drawn out ordeal and we are thankful that we can now prepare these horses for adoption. Many of these horses had a lot of medical issues that we have been treating and taking care of. Reportedly, most of the horses in this case are all Western Pleasure bred. We DO NOT have registration papers on any of these horses. Spoon is a Beautiful, Sorrel/White, Paint, Colt. Spoon is estimated to be 10 weeks of age. His mom is Honey. Spoon is a super sweet boy and loves attention. Spoon is in fair condition. He is bright eyed and nursing well. Honey and Spoon are doing well and settling in well with a good diet to properly accommodate momma and baby. We will update as they improve. Update March 2021 Spoon is doing great and now ready for a family to call his own. He is growing to be one handsome guy. Spoon, who lives up to his name, Spoon full of Sugar, is super sweet and loves attention. He is extremely nosey and constantly wants to check things out and offer his form of help. Spoon is finally eligible for adoption. He is now around 10 months of age. Spoon has been gelded and is doing well with learning to be haltered and lead. This guy is going to make someone an excellent horse. Spoon has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming and hoof maintenance. Spoon has been adopted to a wonderful family in Belle Plain, Kansas. Spoon is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in his forever, loving home. We are thrilled that this handsome boy found the forever, loving family he deserves where he will be showered with love and attention.

We are generally available BY APPOINTMENT Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and generally anytime Friday - Sunday BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays. Please be patient with us and we will return your call/email as soon as possible.
