Starla came into our rescue program on September 25, 2011. Starla came from the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division. Starla is a Beautiful, Sorrel,Thoroughbred, Mare. Starla is estimated to be 15 years of age. She is a super sweet girl, loves attention and has a very calm disposition. She stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. Starla is underweight, body score of a 3, infested with internal/external parasites. Starla had a huge amount of proud flesh on her hind leg from a wound, it has been trimmed back and healing very nicely. We will update as she progresses. Update February 2013 Starla is now seeking her forever, loving home. Starla is super sweet and loves attention. Starla has taken an exceptionally long time to put on weight. She is not an easy keeper, typical Thoroughbred. Starla stands at 15.3 hands tall. Starla is broke to ride and will make someone an excellent horse. We would recommend some tune up time in a round pen or small enclosed area. Starla has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, teeth floating, deworming and hoof maintenance. Starla has been adopted to a wonderful family in Guthrie, Oklahoma. Starla is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in her forever, loving home. We are thrilled that this sweet girl will receive the time, attention and love she deserves from her forever, loving family.
